Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These terms describe the deal between you (the customer) and OnSite Oil & Service LLC (we, us, our) when you book or receive a service from us. Booking with us means you've read and agree to these terms.

1. What we do

We bring mobile vehicle maintenance to your address. Our standard service is an oil and filter change for cars and light trucks. We also offer wiper blades, fluid service (coolant, brake fluid, and washer), air and cabin filters, equipment lubrication, and other services on a quote basis. We are not a full-service shop — we don't do engine repair, transmission work, or anything requiring a hoist. We handle pads and basic brake jobs case-by-case, quoted when the vehicle is a fit for ramp service; anything that needs a hoist or rotor work, we refer to a local shop.

2. Pricing

Pricing for other services is quoted after we know your vehicle and the parts required. A quote is good for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

3. Scheduling

When you submit a booking request, we'll reach out to confirm a specific time. Your request is not a confirmed appointment until we've contacted you back. If we can't make a requested time work, we'll offer alternatives.

4. Cancellation & rescheduling

Plans change — we get it. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

If we have to cancel on you (weather, mechanical issue with the truck, emergency), you don't owe anything and we'll work to reschedule you first the next available day.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless we've agreed in writing to invoice terms (typically for fleet accounts). We accept cash, Venmo, and cards via Square. Venmo carries a 1.9% fee and cards a 3% processing fee.

6. Service area

We currently service a 50-mile radius around Williamsburg, IA. Outside that area, we quote based on trip time and fuel. We reserve the right to decline service in areas we judge unsafe (e.g., parking situations where the truck or ramps can't be set up safely).

7. Your responsibilities

8. Our warranty

We warrant that the work we perform meets industry-standard quality, and that the oil and filters we install are correct for your vehicle and free from defect. If a problem is caused by our workmanship within 30 days of service, contact us and we'll make it right at no charge.

Our warranty does not cover:

9. Damage

Mobile service involves placing equipment under or near your vehicle. We carry general liability and garage-keeper's insurance. If we cause damage to your vehicle, tell us immediately. We'll document it, contact our insurer if needed, and resolve it fairly.

We are not liable for damage that arises from undisclosed pre-existing conditions, from parts not installed by us, or from continued operation of a vehicle after we've advised against it.

10. Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, except as required by Iowa state law. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost time, lost income, rental car expenses, etc.) unless those damages were directly caused by our gross negligence.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Iowa County, Iowa.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of our service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
